I’m basically looking for facilities that allow people they have in their custody the ability to make collect calls using any carrier such as 1-800-COLLECT, 1-800-CALL-ATT, etc… on the facility payphone.

(1) Jail/Prison does allow inmates to make collect calls but they can’t use any carrier, they must use the set carrier at that jail/prison. So please don’t tell me jail/prison, unless u know of one that allow such.

(2) Hospitals, patients admitted in the hospital have a phone in there room but the patient must pay for the phone daily, unless they want to walk to the main lobby where payphones are normally at. So please don’t tell me Hospitals.

If you know of any facilities where people are for any reason in some type of place because of their wrong doing, health, just needed help, etc… and when it’s time to use the payphone they can make collect calls using any collect carrier please reply to my post.

Thank you!

  1. in prisons/jails you have to set up a prepaid account with the carrier that has an agreement with that facility.

ANY OTHER landline, or payphone is able to make collect calls. Jail/prison is the only landline/payphone that you are not able to make collect calls from with out setting up the prepaid account...
