  1. Simply put; adaptation to environmental niches which have allowed for survival and reproduction of the species.

For example; torpedo-shaped animals are built for open water speed allowing them to hunt and evade predators, globiform is a low-maneuverability defensive shape which allows the animal to lodge themselves in crevices become more intimidating or harder to swallow, and anguiliform allows an animal to attack from hidden places, and find protection in from predators in crevices.

  2. their diet, habitat,predators,location

  3. this is dependent on their eatin habits n livin styles

  4. Top-dwellers are flat on top with upturned mouths so they can swim on the surface and eat there. Middle-dwellers are torpedo shaped with a forward mouth so they can swim between thing and eat what is in front of them. Bottom-dwellers are flat on the bottom with down-turn mouths so they can hug the bottom and resist currents and eat things on the bottom. Serpentine to crawl between leaves and rocks.
