If you were an MRI operator and you were going to put an order for a MRI machine, which MRI machine would choose and why?

You need to consider first, what specifically are You using the MRI Machine as there happens to be various sorts of MRI Machines for various " Sequences ". ie:

Diffusion MRI

-Magnetic resonance angiography

-Magnetic resonance spectroscopy

Functional MRI

Interventional MRI

-Radiation therapy simulation

-Current density imaging

-Magnetic resonance guided focused ultrasound

-Multinuclear imaging

Susceptibility Weighted Imaging (SWI)

At the same time, You also need to know as which MRI Machines are or/and may be harmful for a patient. ie,

Patients with " Pacemakers " or Metallic Implants.

I will not directly endorse any equipement but just mention that  a new 1.5 tesla scanners often cost between $1-$1.5 million USD.New 3.0 tesla scanners often cost between $2-$2.5 million USD. Construction of MRI suites can cost $500,000 USD. However above all, You need a working MRI Machine with suitable warranty along with it.  And if, You are buying an old one make sure it doesn't virbrates or have loud noise while using it.
