What fake fighting moves can I stage for camera?

I want to film a home movie in which actors use fake kung fu type moves on eachother---are there any good sites or suggestions for learning fake moves that look cool?

    its called Timewarp the quest for the Elixir. maybe you can find some moves kung fu moves out of that film angles make a difference best of luck


  2. check out eddie bravo's moves if you want submissions or karo parisyan's youtube videos if you want judo throws. strikes you should be able to come up with yourself ok.

  3. Dude, stage fighting is a completely different art, I did it for a semester at university.  

    The first thing is always SAFETY, don't do anything actually dangerous. The second thing would be blocking, as in positioning the actors in front of the camera so that they look like they're close together when they're not.  Third is choreography, plan everything out, and make sure your actors practice  it and don't improv.

    Keep in mind I did it for a single semester and there people in the theater with Doctorates who do this for a living.  Look under stage combat.
