  1. I'm a wedding florist and I hope someday I can talk somebody into having the wedding I really wish I could have had.....bouquets of red and orange and deep almost eggplant purple with fall accents like wheat.....brown dresses with fall color sashes (pink or orange)...reception held in a big old apple barn (not one that's still in use, obviously) with lots of reds and oranges and browns, apples and wheat everywhere in the decor, each place card is an apple with a leaf shape card attached that has the name hand written on it, candlelit tables set with gold and copper tones, with glittering crystal, napkins tied with a ribbon and a few pieces of wheat favors are 'gold' dipped maple leaves that you can hang with ribbons from a potted 'tree' the ribbons printed with the couples names and the date.....ahh.....I LOVE fall weddings....good luck!

  2. Pumpkins and gourds.

& it it's an outdoor ceremony, let fall leaves be the aisle runner!

  3. We had an indoor wedding at the beginning of November.  For the table decorations, we asked our florist to use pumpkins.  He went with it and they were gorgeous!  He carved the top and cleaned them out, and then used ivy and holly to come out of each pumpkin.  The top was propped against the pumpkin and the ivy/holly wrapped around.

As for colors, we had a rich burgundy/wine for the bridesmaids, and then black watch tartan kilts (hunter green, navy and black) for the groomsmen.  I picked up paint cards to match from home depot and then used the paint cards to hand out to the florist and cake chef.

  4. Im getting married on November 8th. I love Fall...the weather, the colors etc. but we are not really doing a "Fall Theme". The bridesmaid dresses are wine and our bouquets will be a color mix of purples, deep reds, yellows and orange. For Centerpeices we are using large huricane vases with wine and lilac large stones and deep pink small stones at the bottom with a ivory candle. My dress is Ivory and Champaign.

  5. The color scheme should be dark reds, oranges, yellows, maybe some gold or brown accents.

For your decorating motif think of a candle lit ceremony with fall leaves sprinkled around a tall vase filled with gold colored beads and floating candles.

The food should be a heart fare of roast beef and seasonal vegetables.

The drinks should be something comforting and maybe something with whipped cream.

It would be cute if the favors were in little boxes that you could decorate with your  colors with ribbons.

I hope you have a great fall wedding!

  6. i could visualize a romantic scene with red garnet and amber glass, crystals or beading amongst a back ground of a creamy beige color.  i would use candles on tall wrought iron candle holders to elude to a more historical romantic wedding.  and the food would be what is local and in season, depending on where you are.
