The fashion is always as in the big cities of the states(NY; Miami, etc), there is always something that maybe particular of the island like some sandal that summer can become really inn with the young kids, stuff like that, and that happens in the states too with teenagers.  Aside from that, it´s all the same.

Jeans of any color are in.  Lot of women / girls use beaded jewlery, and head ribbons.

women are wearing either gold or silver high heals or sandals with gold or silver purse, bright yellow shirts and dark blue jeans(thight and strech) no bell bottoms any more. big purses are common and also large noticeable jewelry. head ribbons are out of style. bright colors are coming back with dark blue jeans and shiny accessories. sunglasses are in style and as a need to block the strong summer burning sun.

men are using sporty t-shirts with squared knee lenght pants,

kinda like a pajama style. some are wearing solid color sweaters with gold or silver prints. sunglasses and designed haircuts, kind of like calle 13 style.
