What features make a webcam good?

I'm looking for a webcam but don't know where to start! How can you tell if it's worth while or is a bad webcam? Like what features should I look for in the description?

it should be around atleast 2 mega pixel or higher

some other webcam have a built in mic

and if i were you ill buy the branded

and ask for the warranty ^_^
