  1. You can look through the tables in the links below.  Potassium is identified in the columns as K2O (standard practice for fertilizers) or as Potash.  The most common fertilizer source of only potassium would be potassium chloride.

  2. Banana peels is one of  the highest form of natural potash....I use it around all my flowers...peel....eat....toss peel around plants. You may want to work it in a little or cover with mulch.I do it about every 6 weeks

  3. fertilizers which are high in potassium and low nitrogen are winter lawn foods, but you have to be careful because they could burn the leaves of other plants. i use a product called growmore which is like a sea salt looking fertilizer, but keep it off the leaves. hope this helped a little

  4. Fertilizers are rated with three numbers such as 10-10-10 based on their N-P-K content.  The first number is nitrogen, the second is phosphorus, and the third is potassium.  Find a fertilizer with a small first number and a larger third number like 2-6-13.

  5. Banana Skins

I have put mine in water and swished it around. Then dump on the roots preferably when there is going to be a good rain. Or when you are going to water well.

You can also put the skins in the bottom of the hole before planting then a good layer of dirt before planting. Or under the mulch, and cover well. Potassium helps plants fight disease.

  6. Tomato and rose foods
