Anything relating to mining, eg engineering etc is particularly sought after at the moment, also medecine or nursing should get you in to Australia. It depends of course on your interests

currently there is a high demand for nursing and teaching so if you are qualified in any of these areas you will be right.

Gosh, another broad question.  What are you studying at college? In Australia, when we go to university, we specialise in a field like the arts, business or science.

I think you can't go wrong if you are good at I.T. (information technology).  In saying that, Australia is experiencing full employment (more so in Queensland - particularly Brisbane where I live). In other words, it is a job seekers dream!

If you want to see what jobs are available, take a look at the job sites Seek.com.au and Careerone.com.au.  Both of these allow you to put the state and city e.g. Queensland,  Brisbane and then search in job fields e.g. accounting or whatever.
