we already saw Marquez vs Vazquez, Marquez vs Pacquiao, and Cotto vs Margarito.

If you could put two boxers in the ring this year, who would you put together and why?

Well, sticking with a realistic possibility, the first matchup that comes to mind for me is Antonio Margarito vs. Paul Williams rematch. Williams holds a victory over Margarito, but it is Margarito who has had the better 12 months, since their fight. After this past weekend's outcome, Margarito is pretty the man to beat in the welterweight division. Since Williams already has a win over Margarito, some may say that Williams is the man in the division, since he defeated the "man". This really needs to be settled to see who really is the "man" of the welterweight division. The winner would also have two of the titles for the weight class, which would go even further in making the claim for welterweight king.

Juan Diaz vs Joel Casamayor it may not be the best but both are good boxers who can throw lots of punches maybe it will be a fight of the year candidate if it were to happen.
