  1. J.C.Chaves, R.duran, N.benn, H.Holifield, M.Haggler, S.Collins, J.Foreman, R.Hatton, R.Marciano, D.Tua, T.Morrison, M.Tyson, J.Fraizer M.A.Barrera, J.Tapia, J Lamatto, J Dempsy, A Gatti, B.Mcguigan, S.Robson, J.Toney, T.Tucker, S.Liston, F.Paterson       ( i could go on for ever but iv got to go)

  2. Joe Frazier

  3. Not having Mike Tyson on your list is just absurd,, My first is Mike Tyson, If he got inside the only thing you could do was hold on for dear life and hope he does not punch his way out by tearing your body apart.

Joe Frazier, Smokin Joe could knock out with a 2inch punch. Even the great Ali had trouble when Joe got inside on him.

  4. Roberto Duran.  Considering he in-fought for Marvin Hagler for 15 rounds is all you need to know.

Julio Chavez could generate crazy hit power from short range.

But the King of infighting is Joe Frazier.  He plainly wore guys out.

  5. Thomas Hearns Mike Tyson Joe Frazier Doberto Duran Sugar Ray Leonard Sugar Ray Robinson Henry Armstrong

  6. 1 without a doubt would be Bob Fitzsimmons a man history has forgotten went from middleweight to heavyweight and knock out many Hall of Famers all along the way.

    The rest in random order:

    Stanley Ketchel

    Joe Frazier

    Henry Armstrong

    Rocky Marciano

    Jack Dempsey

  7. Joe Frazier: Great inside pressure fighter with a tremendous left hook. His style was to get close and bang left hooks to the body and the head. Once inside Frazier would definitely "smoke."

Dwight Muhummad Qawi: Qawi was nicknamed the "Camden Buzzsaw" for a reason, he was short and stocky and had great infighting skills. He was also not easy to hit like most pressure fighters are, he slipped and ducked his way in on taller opponents and battered them in close.

Julio Ceaser Chavez: Chavez was a master inside with great body punching and a paralyzing left hook to the body. Chavez in his prime was almost impossible to beat because of his infighting skills.

Riddick Bowe: I know this sounds crazy for a 6'5" heavyweight, but Bowe was a tremendous infighter for a big man. He would use the jab to get closer to his foes and batter them inside with hooks and right uppercuts. The right uppercut he hit Holyfield with in the 10th round of their first fight was a thing of beauty.

Mike Tyson: Tyson had very fast hands and unleashed short, quick, powerful punches in close. Tyson often hit guys with short, explosive shots that they never even saw coming.

James Toney: Most people probably wouldn't think that Toney is a good infighter but he really is. Toney would hit guys with short shots countering off the ropes. Just look at his fight with Prince Charles Williams. He beat Williams inside for 11 rounds before stopping him in the 12th.

Antonio Margarito: Margarito may be slow, but once he gets inside and get his range he's as good as anyone in close. He's throws punches in bunches in close with hooks and uppercuts doing most of the damage, just ask Miguel Cotto.

There are more guys that I can name but I can't think of them right now.

  8. Roberto Duran

    Marvin Hagler

    Joe Frazier

    Henry Armstrong

    Tony Zale

    Rocky Graziano

    Sugar Ray Robinson

    Jake Lamotta

    Mickey Ward

    Arturo Gatti

    Rocky Marciano

    Jack Dempsey

These are the first too come to mind but im sure that there are others that will pop into my head in a while. Obviously some of these fighters are linked with each other because of the great battles that were fought against each other on the inside.
