  1. Various DVD players play various file formats. It's better to check your DVD players specifications and then find out.

    The safest bet without knowing the file types is to record it in the form of a movie dvd (with vob, ifo, video_ts etc..) You can do the conversion if the file format is not for dvd and if they are ready for dvd, then use a simple program like Nero (on windows) and make your dvd.
