A few months ago i bought a Nikon f50 from ebay. As it was, it came with quite a few films, which i have now used, and as per usual i have thrown out the packaging without recording which film it is i actually need =[

Can anybody help?

Cheers!

  1. You can read the film type along the top of your negatives.

My personal color print film of choice is Fujicolor Superia Reala ISO 100. I also like Kodak Portra 160VC (ISO 160, Vivid Color).

For windy or overcast days or action I use Fujifilm PRO400H (ISO 400) or Kodak Portra 400VC (ISO 400).

I use Kodak Portra 160NC (Natural Color) for people pictures. Very nice skin tones. Does really well with flash.

When I dabble in black & white I use Ilford XP2 Super ISO 400 or Kodak BW400CN (ISO 400) since both are C-41 compatible and my local 1 Hour Lab does a great job with them.

  2. 35mm film, Tri X, TMAX, Ilford to name a few.
