I am having a Body Shop Party on Friday and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what to serve as finger foods. I work till 5pm and the party is at 7pm so it has to be something quick and good.

  1. Cheese & crackers and fresh fruit are easy and always popular.

  2. Have a look in Iceland,, Kerry gets lots there.

  3. little finger sandwiches or wraps are always a hit at a party. maybe some crackers on cheese. make sure to have some whole wheat choices so even the people who are health conscious can enjoy. serving things like sushi or chicken really makes a party very formal..

  4. Make sure you take the nails out the fingers...those are crunchy!

  5. Big bowl of chicken vindaloo and several naan breads.

  6. The easiest thing to do would be to pick up some deli trays from Costco or Sam's.  You can also shop at Trader Joes and get some gourmet cheeses, chips, salsa, dips etc.  If you want to make your own, here are some ideas:

    1.  Lil smokies wrapped in crescent dough, baked to golden brown.

    2.  Spinach dip in bread bowl

    3.  Hot artichoke crab dip (can be made the night before and baked the day of)

    4.  Vege platter with ranch dressing

    5.  Fruit skewers with a Nutella dipping sauce

    6.  Crockpot meatballs in bbq sauce

    7.  Tortilla rollups:  on large flour tortillas, spread herb and chive cream cheese, top with jack cheese, roast beef, romaine lettuce, tomatos, rollup and wrap in saran wrap.  Refrigerate until ready to serve.  Slice.  You can also use green chili's with smoked turkey.

    8.  Sliced cucumbers topped with smoked salmon cream cheese and a sprig of dill.

    9.  Endive leaves filled with California Chicken Salad (purchase at deli counter)

    10.  Large prawns on a tray with cocktail sauce, lemon slices

  7. Fruit and cheese with toastettes.

    Chocolate covered strawberries.

    Stuffed Mushrooms

    Spinach & Crab Dip

Or you can take the really easy way out and hit BJ's, Sam's Club, ect and purchase some of those little frozen yummy appetizers.  Toss in some fresh fruit and cheese and maybe some mini cheesecakes (you can get those frozen too) and you are sooooo set.  You guest's will think you are a total diva.
