Though The Rock did not create the move, he did it before Booker T did. Booker T began to do it when he was getting a main-event push in WCW, possibly due to the fact that it's easier to execute than the Harlem Hangover (Frontflip Legdrop off the turnbuckle) and more interesting than the Axe Kick.

The Rock Bottom. It's true that Booker was wrestling longer, but never used the Book End until after the Rock came up with the Rock Bottom. It was not during the Invasion Angle when he started using it either, it was around a year or two before WWE took control of WCW. Around 2000 is when Booker started using the Book End (during the Vince Russo era in WCW)
