What first, Macbook or iPhone?

I love Macs. They are perfect for what I need a computer for. But I can't afford a new computer (of any brand). I also need a cell phone and I would love the extra features of the iPhone. Soon I should be able to get a job so I will finally be able to afford these. From my guesses on what I will be getting paid it will take me about 6 months to get the Mac. It will take me about 1 1/2 months to get the iPhone plus $81 a month after that for my plan. What do you think: Get the Mac then the lesser (in expense, use, and abilities) iPhone or get the iPhone to hold me over until I get a Mac, which would be about 9-10 months if I get the iPhone).

Remember with your computer you can do so much more and anyway last year the iphones were twice as expensive.  Next year you know they will come out with a better iphone.  It kind of sucks when you get something new and the next thing you know it is outdated.

get the macbook. I have a macbook pro and I actually make money using it instead of paying $81 a month. Eventually the amount of the bills would add up to a Macbook anyway. So get the mac first iphone later (a new version should be out by then anyway >_<)

iphones aren't worth dumping your money into, in other words they suck, they malfunction like crazy.

i would get the macbook i have one and it's the best computer i have ever had (my family swears by mac) i wouldn't bother with the iphone, or at&t's crappy cutomer, and phone service. Go somewhere worth your money, like sprint they never drop calls, their texts always go through (at&t's server get's clogged because they are the largest network) or you could try verizon, they have the lg dare (an awsome phone) and sprint has the samsung instinct (top rated phone for now, which means better than the iphone)

both of those phones have the same features as the iphone, plus more.
