I have started my first saltwater tank. It is fully cycled, and I have added 2 clownfish as the first in the tank. They are the same species and get along great. It is a fish only tank, not a reef tank. The tank is 125gal. What fish would be the most compatible with them that I could add over time? Thanks in advance for any help!

  1. You could have just about anything,

I would add 5 yellow tail damsels, 3 domino damsels, 1 yellow tang or 1 regal tang, a trigger, a pj cardinal, and a bigger clown like a maroon or tomato clown.  Would be beautiful in color.   You would still have some room for 2 or 3 smaller fish, but there are tons of them out there.  Just no fish that could and would eat the clowns like an eel or a lionfish.

  2. I have found banana wrasses to be beautiful!! ut only 1 wrasse per tank as they are aggressive towards each other, so no christmas wrasse, no 6 line wrasse, only 1 wrasse that you choose. A school of pajama cardinals would be cool. Or 2 tangs. Just remember 1 tang shape per tank. So you can have a yellow tang and a blue tang, but not a yellow tang and a purple tang, get it? but 2 tangs, 1 of each shape. That would be beautiful!
