Would other aggressive fish be okay?

  1. Puffers should be kept with other puffers of their species, and even then only cautiously and in a large tank. One should not be noticeably larger than the other and there should be lots of cover and plants provided. Other aggressive fish will just savage the puffer like the puffer will try to savage it.  


  2. I wouldn't recommend it. They are aggressive and will end up hurting or being hurt by another aggressive fish.

  3. Puffers are aggressive fish. Find something that is fast enough for it to get away. If you contact a local pet store such as petsmart, they can assist you better.

  5. puffers are aggressive and will kill any fish however they can be kept with Silver Needle Nose Gars, Archer Fish, Monos, Scats, White Tip Shark Cats, and the Fan Dancer Goby.

    EDIT: As you notice these are also aggressive fish who grow very large so I would just keep puffers in a species only tank
