You can keep other coldwater fish with a goldfish, such as Zebra Danios, White Cloud Minnows, Chinese Algae Eaters etc.

Keep in mind that these fish are generally quite small and if they can fit in a goldfish's mouth then it could very well get eaten. If your goldfish are still relatively small then you are in for a better chance. But many people have had success keeping them together.

Well many types CAN go with goldfish though goldfish prefer to stay with goldfish of different species or the same type. Also bottom feeders like those small catfish are also a type of fish that can go with goldfish and they clean up all the dirt and green moss in the fish tank.
