What fish can i put together?

i want some guppies and platys. they have the same range of temp and ph and everything but what others can go with it? i wanted some neon tetras but the water need to be low on ph but live bearers are high on ph

what other fish can i get that will go with platys and gupies?I have a 30 gallon fish tank so i dont want fish that will grow up to like 6 inches i want small fish that grow like to 4 inches. any god ones?

  1. the pH thing with the tetras isn't always true, ive always kept tetras with guppies and platys with no problems at all.

    mollies and rasboras are good for community aquariums, and so are some types of barb.

    check that the type you get are suitable for community aquariums before you buy any though.

  3. You can keep guppies and neon tetras together, as long as your water conditions aren't extreme. My water is very soft and low pH, the neons are fine in it, and the guppies also do well.

    Good tankmates for both are something bottom dwelling like cory catfish and/or bristlenose pleco. Guppies prefer the top of the tank, neons the middle and catfish the bottom.
