What fish does ok alone with other fish?

i have two zebra danios and 2 otocinclus in a 10 gal. tank. i don't care that zebras do best in bigger groups, by the way. Easy best answer.

  1. NO!Do not put  2 beta's together.They come from china and they are ment to fight each other.You must keep them away from each other if you don't,well lets just say you'll only have one then.I'm telling the truth I own 3 of them,all in separate bowls.


  2. both otos and zds need larger groups, but apparently you don't care about the happiness of your fish. you could add a couple guppies/dwarf platies, but thats about it. and alicia, bettas are from thailand, not china, and they certaintly shouldn't be trapped in a cold, dirty, cramped bowl. a betta will be at its best in a 5g/20l+ heated (bettas are tropical), filtered tank.

  3. Why not a male betta?  A betta would get along fine in that mix.
