What fish go well with angelfish?

Question

I want to start an aquarium, and I know that I want angelfish. But which fish will work well in the tank with them. Also, what fish should I use for cycling?Should I just use the angelfish and one of the others I was planning to use.

You can actually use zebra danios they tend to be around a dollar a piece.

Dont listen to the hype they are aggressive. In reality they are a form of cichlid however they are harmless...and ive had no problem at all an my angels have been in the tank for over a year... the oldest ones.

Get a large one. Angelfish is territory and fight. they grow very large too.

I don't know much about these fish, or fish in general, but I found this answer while doing some research.

nothing too small or nothing too passive. usually bottom feeders like corydoras or other catfish are good because they aren't in the angelfish's way. gouramis that get about 4-5" would be a good choice too -- pearl gouramis and the blue/gold/opaline/platinum/three spots (they are actually all the same fish in different colors). small fish like tetras will most likely end up dinner.
