  1. In a 10 gallon tank, none.

A school of tiger barbs will get too big and active for that size tank, adding more tankmates will just bring on the inevitable disaster sooner.

Your barbs are probably small right now, but they will grow. I've had mine about 18 months and they are over 2" long now. They can reach 3" eventually.

In a larger tank they can live with small cichlids (like kribensis), most small catfish, loaches, plecos, other barbs, large tetras etc.

  2. 3-5 panda cories is all you should keep as bottom dwellers in your 10 gallon tank.  Tiger barbs are top dwellers and paties mid level.

By the way, if you have aggression problems (and I suspect you do/will), then replace the tiger barbs with 5-7 neon tetras.  Tiger barbs are fairly aggressive and really shouldn't be kept in anything smaller than a 20 gallon long.  They really aren't good tank mates for most fish because of their aggressive tendencies.
