  2. for ice cream i would say vanilla, but for most other things i would say chocolate. (and then there's always white chocolate, which is sort of like vanilla-flavored chocolate...)  :-)

  3. butter pecan or black cherry for ice cream.  For sundaes it would be caramel or hot fudge.
