What floor shall i have?

i'm having a black and white bedroom, but i don't know what floor to have. people say that black carpet shows up all the dirt, has anyone got any good suggestions?

carpet of any sort is so hard to keep nice try hardwood and throw rugs.

wood floors are great and you can stain wood to be just about any color you want....but, the easiest and cheapest thing is carpet sqaures...you can get those in black and white swirly patterns or solid colors....I like the swirly pattern.

well maybe if you want tile you could do black and white checkered tyle?? It's weird i know lol!!
