What folder do i download directx to??

i am trying to download the new august version and it is asking me to choose the folder to download it to. i have never had to do this before so i am not sure - it always went wherever it was supposed to go without any other help from me!

My Documents, My Downloads, anywhere else.  It doesn't really matter, as long as you remember where you downloaded it so you can run it when it's done

Download it to your desktop, then go and double click the icon, it will install it where it needs to go.

Wherever you want, seeing as you'll probably be deleting it anyway once you've installed it.

Just dump it on your desktop, then run it from there.

it should just extract to the folder you're being asked to download it to. You should be able to download it to your Documents folder, and then open the program there which will install DX.
