  1. I can't tell you what font it is but I try searching the font sites. They often have a font identifier (see link below).

Can't say they're always successfull tho'!!!

  2. I think it is Aurora Bold Face No. 2 Condensed

or Aurora Bold Face No. 2  Ultra Condensed.

    It is an ITC face.

  3. Just to correct the answerer above, this typeface is definitely NOT Aurora. The more squarish shape of the serifs, the width of the typeface (Aurora does not appear to have a condensed weight and this typeface is most definitely a condensed weight) and the fact that the capitol "Q" of the Aurora typeface looks nothing like the one pictured in your example pretty much rules out this typeface as being Aurora.

With that said, I am more or less certain that the typeface used here is a slightly modified version of the typeface Birch. You see it in action and purchase the font family here if you wish...

And FYI, you will very rarely be able to find a typeface used in television and advertising that is exactly the same as an existing typeface. Usually some effort is made to logos used in typefaces so that they cannot be replicated too easily, though in this case the changes are fairly minimal.
