Oh and it may be too much but can one of you give me a workout plan that can get me a flat tummy(it has to be an out home workout plan, and easy enough for a teen to follow)

  1. If you could get your hands on some fruit at some point, that would probably be the best. Do you have any plain almonds or other nuts that you could slice and add to the oatmeal? While nuts are high in fat, it IS healthy fat and they would add some protein to your breakfast to give you some staying power for the morning. Just don't go overboard with them! For some extra flavor with minimal calories you could always add a teaspoon of brown sugar (only around 15 calories). I know that's not HEALTHY per say but it would give you something extra for taste.

  2. I like raisins, or brown sugar and walnuts. Crunches are an easy way to flatten your tummy. Maybe Pilates would be easy for you to follow. It's easy but it works

  3. A boiled egg and slice of toast w/o butter would go with it - but if you can get fresh fruit it would be great! But as a teen, use caution because you are still growing and need the extra calories and nutrition. An adult could get by with cutting back a lot but not a teen - you need it right now! My hubby was in the hospital with heart problems and they gave him the egg, toast, and oatmeal together.

For a flatter tummy, try crunches. My sister has a flat tummy and her trick has always been doing 100 crunches when her feet hit the floor each morning and 100 each night before she gets in bed. It may take some time to work up to that but it will work. Good luck!

  4. Oatmeal's a carbohydrate, so ideally you want some protein to go along with that. Some peanut butter will do in a pinch, as will a small handful of nuts (almonds are my favorite, but pretty much any type will do the trick).

If you have enough time in the morning, make steel-cut oatmeal with some mixed-in slivered almonds, and a glass of 1% or fat-free milk.

For flat tummy, that's a combination of losing fat (so watching what you eat, exercising, etc.) and making sure you target your abs when you work out (don't ignore other body parts, though).

  5. oatmeal is pretty healthy, but if you look at the nutrition facts on the side of a box of cereal, trix is good cereal that if you only eat one cup of it (which doesn't sound like a lot, but it is) and one cup of 2% milk, that only comes to about 250 calories, plus it keeps you satisfied until lunch time. As far as the tummy flattening, I do crunches where you lay on your back with your legs in the air (ankles crossed with your knees at a 90 degree angle) and you just pull straight up, and then I do crunches where the only difference is that when you come up you pull your right elbow to your left knee, you go back down, then you pull your left elbow to your right knee. I am a teen as well, and I understand what you're saying, and this routine works great for me.

  6. buy egg beaters.. its 30 calories per serving (1/4 cup) and fat free. they fill you up like eggs without all the fat. 1/4 cup is very small serving so if it were for breakfast i would do 3 servings.. pepper and salt the eggs..Delicious.

you can add fat-free cheese to it also.. peppers. onions. anything

  7. Do you have peanut butter or nuts? Also if you make your oatmeal yourself, you could have a little more cuz you regulate how much sugar goes in it. Just get some quick oats.

A scrambled egg would be good. I am also trying to loose weight so I have a small can of v-8, 1 hard boiled egg, and either 1 cup yogurt or some kashi cereal dry for breakfast. It's working. ANd sometimes I space it out. I have the v-8 as soon as I wake up it kind of makes you full. Then about an hr later I have the egg, and if I still need something then I have the yodurt or cereal as my kind of snack.

I've only been doing this for a couple of days but so far it working.

Also keep some whole grain crackers, and bread in the house. The whole grain bread with p'butter would make a good snack. Or the whole grain crackers with a couple slices of cheese. for a snack.
