  1. fast food (but it tastes so good, but i watch myself)

  2. I think it depends on what foods you are looking at. Now there are some healthy choices in fast food such as salads and fresh fruit, but canned foods are so full of sodium and other stuff to help preserve the food longer. So I would have to go with canned foods.

  3. fastfood-how do you know whats going on in that "kitchen"?

plus VERY unhealthy and full of bad fats and cholesterol

  4. canned food -

  5. fast food has more fat, canned food has more sodium...but each have both....

  6. Honestly, it depends on what you're getting and the brand. If you look at canned foods today, a lot of them are lowering the sodium and fat contents. There are aisles that have only organic canned soups, sauces, etc. The same goes with fast food. It depends on where you eat and what you get. Fast food restaurants today have portions of their menus designed with health and moderation in mind. Salads, sandwiches made on whole grain bread, baked potatoes, etc. Just shop around and see what you like. Read the labels and most fast food joints have a menu online that will list all of the information you'll need to find out what a healthy option is. The best, as always, is making things at home from scratch without processed foods. Today though, nobody has time, so we have to cut corners. Just research your decision to find out what is the best for you.

  7. Both are bad in the same way. Canned food is bad, because of the high, high levels of sodium it tends to contain (used to preserve the food in the can.) Our american diets are said to be extremely high in sodium, which makes your body retain water so if you are having a weight problem you wouldn't want to consume high amounts of sodium. If you like salt sometimes you can find salt without the sodium. These foods also contain high amounts of cholesterol & saturated fats as does fast food as well. The problem with fast food is that it contains twice the amount of fat that you need in 1 day in just 1 serving so you can imagine if you are eating fast food meals 2 and 3 times a day how unhealthy it can be. Read ALL nutrition labels of the food that you buy & ingest you will be suprised that even if it looks healthy that sometimes it can be quite the opposite. Your food should not contain high levels of sodium, cholesterol, or saturated fats don't get me wrong you do need this in your diet just not as much as most people consume. There are 2 main types of fats you should watch out for HDL's (High-density lipoprotein) & LDL's (Low-density lipoprotein). LDL is the bad cholesterol which is the saturated fats etc... Saturated fats that are in canned foods & fast food is bad because it contains high levels of hydrogen. The body's way of defending itself against this stuff is to build up what's called plaque in the arterial walls of your heart in excess over time it builds up and builds up until your heart can't do it's job of pumping blood through your valves & chambers & you end up having a heart attack. Honestly the best way of protecting your body & overall health is by preparing your foods from scratch it may take extra time, but it will prevent you & your family against many problems in later years.

  8. depends on the fast food or canned food - too vague.  i would say if you are talking Big Mac vs. Campbells Minestrone.  then the Big Mac is worse.  Campbells has tons of salt but less calories.  (and big mac has tons of salt, calories & fat!)

  9. canned

  10. canned, like canned bread, canned cheese, canned sweet peas

  11. Both are full of S H I T

  12. Both loaded w/ salt but canned food, I think, would have more preservatives.

  13. canned food, Its totally rank!

  14. ew, canned, because it just sits there for like 3 years until it expires
