What food of these is good for stomach ache and travellers dioreahah? I'm in India

on the menu are various parathas

different naans, rotis, chapatis, papads,

gravies like paneer butter masala and vegetable jalfrezi and palak paneer

more solid like paneer tikka, veggie samosa, veg spring roll,

soups like cream of tomato or hot n sour soup

several rice dishes like veg byriani, veg puloa etc

i'm pure veg.

pasta and italian dishes-though i'm not really into these

to drink: various milkshakes, mockatails, freshly squeezed juices, water, sweet/salt/banana lassie, various teas and coffee

for dessert

icecream

bebinka

banana flambe

apple pie and icecream

gulab jamun

  1. the best foods for diarrhea and other problems:

    bananas

    rice

    crackers

    sprite

    absolutely no dairy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


  2. Eat dry food. Eat the stuff which has hardly any moisture/water in it. The best stuff to eat is Toast, but if that is out of reach then bread is the next best thing.  Also stay way from dairy products. Drink water if you are thirsty, no Milkshakes or Ice Cream.

  3. Take some warm water, not coffee or tea or cold staff.

    light food is OK, pasta and apple pie is alright but not orange juice when you have stomach ache

  5. if you want something light; get something called a puri bhaaji. it's small fried inflated bread with a good potato curry.

    Indian soups always suck; so no soup.

    Get some banana lassie, it's niiiiice.

    ..... get gulab jamun if you haven't had it before. it's brilliant.

  7. omg your in india? so is my mom right now, she will come back on the 17th.  and about the food, they ALL taste very good, but im not too much of an expert on which ones are healthy or not, but you should try naan and paneer, thats what I always have.  But whatever you choose, I hope you like it!  have fun in india!

    If you are having stomach ache or dioreahah.please take care as its monsoon season in india .firstly take light food ,freshly cooked and hygenic food.Be careful about water it should be clean.take mineral water.You can always ask the hotel people to get you steamed rice with curd or Khichdi( made from rice & light moong pulse)with just salt & pepper.Take fluids like lemon water with salt & sugar.You can have chapati without butter or fat with Dal ( light variety yellow moong dal)you can have clear soups.you can have apple juice also.you can have Tea ,herbal tea .Please do not starve. If you ask hotel people to serve you out of menu they will definately do for you.Good luck .Enjoy your stay in india.

  10. Bananas, rice, cracker.  Lots of water to keep hydrated.

  11. I don't know which is good but remember to DRINK WATER since a lot is disappears with the diarrhea.

    Try to google and find something.

  12. Eat yogurt and rice that's the best for a bad stomach.they'll have it in all indian restaurants
