  2. DONT LISTEN TO SHANON.  TOMATOES ARE POISONESS TO HAMSTERS.

p.s.  my hamsters loved rice pudding and gold fish crackers (original flavour, not ones with artificial dies and flavours)

  3. small portions of peas, green and yellow beans, green grapes, carrots, cucumber, romaine lettuce, blueberries, spring mix(spinach, edible dandelion) and lastly pumpkin filling (non seasoned).

  4. they like carrots, but b/c they are dwarf...they have smaller mouths, chop the carrots up. and the same with apples. they love both. well, at least my gerbils do.

  5. You should feed them apples, carrots, lettuce, and other fruits and vegetables. Also my hamsters LOVED sunflower seeds. I bought a hamster food that had lots of seeds in it and also as a snack we feed them fruits and vegetables. Good luck!

  6. Veggies and fruits should be used as a treat. Not as a normal daily food, it can cause diarrhea. But you can feed them:

    Carrots

    Lettuce

    Broccoli

    Potato

    Tomato

    Hamsters can eat most veggies.

Some other foods (besides the pet store mixed food) you can feed Hamsters are:

Eggs that are hard boiled and only the white part (little bits)

Chunks of beef or mutton (totally avoid pork)

    Canned dog foods

    Meal worms

    Mixed bird seed

    Monkey Chow

    Good Luck!

And remember feed all of the above^^ as a treat! Not a regular meal. Normally feed hamsters food from the pet store. P.S. Mine loves Fiesta!
