  1. Other than the food that you mentioned, they eat nuts and seed.  Indian Ringnecks kept as pets should be fed a well balanced diet.  You could either feed them fruits, berries, vegetables, nuts, and seeds OR nutritionally balanced bird food from your local pet store.

  2. In the wild they eat a variety of seeds,berries, fruits,, nuts, blossoms and nectar.

    they also can have commercial pellets they also enjoy the same nutritional foods we humans do cooked chicken, cooked beans, cooked rice, cooked grains be alert when giving this  It will spoil quick so what they don't eat get out of cage.

    Foods they eat===

    Apples,grapes, bananas,pears,cherries,mango's,oranges,p... melons,peaches,and berries. Spinach,water crest,field lettuce, poppy chick weed,dandelions,carrots,corn on cob,peas,zucchini, green peppers,endive, sweet potatoes.

    NO Avocado's, raw/ green potatoes, all the cabbage family, lemons,plums,rhubarb, grape fruit, and No dried fruits the have been treated with sulfur dioxide... some will kill others will make very sick.

    This is good proteins when brooding- cottage cheese, hard boiled eggs, peanuts, monkey food and dog foods
