I've just moved to Heredia, Costa Rica and the bus and car fumes are really getting to me! I want to stay clean and healthy and wonder what I should do. I sometimes use a Neti pot to clean out my nose (sorry, a little gross), but should I take something too?

  1. Foods high in antioxidents are the colorful ones, blueberries, raspberries, broccoli, tomatoes, red grapes, garlic (which is also a  great antimicrobial for the lungs)

Maybe a bit far fetched if you can't get it but you may want to see if you can get mullein leaf tincture or tea. Mullein helps support the lungs. We've had some bad wild fires where I live and it's been helping a lot in dealing with the smoke effecting my breathing.

And the neti pot will help too

  2. Antioxidants! Go with your EFT's (essential fatty acids) You can buy ones with 3,6&9 combos for best effectiveness. Don't leave out your Apple Cider vinegar, it's great for preventing all sorts of ailments. You could also try Chelation therapy- a heavy metal cleanse which help nix those pollutants floating about in your system.
