Question:

What foods and drinks provide the best source of energy?

I always drink a energy drink when I need an added boost and at this point it doesn't seem like they do anything for me anymore. I am looking for other, more healthy alternatives to make it through those late night study sessions. Also I have seen advertisements for "5-hour Energy", has anyone tried it and if so does it work?

  1. Proteins and electrolytes (gatorade, powerade), light carbs, vitamin supplements with iron, and plenty of rest.
