  2. i think spinach is high in potassium and other green leafy veg

  3. Potassium is not the only one when deleted that causes this problem, my daughter was growing really rapidly during puberty and she got muscle cramps all the time, load up on calcium too, you can  suppliment  both of these minerals with pills. Good luck.

  4. I believe that banana's are the foods high in potassium. ô/ ;*

  5. Yes potassium may well help cramps, and may well be the cause of cramps if your deficient. Bananas are a good source the highest content is probably Lima beans and also, Spinach, soy beans and kidney beans to name a few, all cooked and also lentils boiled.

Are your levels actually low? the main cause for the low potassium would be either drug induced (most likely) or your having renal problems.

  6. bananas!  :)

  7. I believe banana's are high in potassium.

  8. Bananas are high in potassium.

Potassium, Magnesium and Calcium should ease your muscle cramp. Foods like bananas, peaches, cheese like cheddar, dried apricots, chocolates, cod liver oil and sea food contain these minerals. If you only get some relief from restoring the levels of these minerals you should see your doctor: there may be an underlying condition.

Tonic Water prevents leg cramps. Vitamin E helps with cramps at night.

Placing hot flannels or heated medicinal bean bags on the affected areas should help the blood to circulate more. Also, take long warm soaks in the bath.

  9. Bananas are one of the best sources...After all ever see a monkey with stiff muscles???
