What are you avoiding in his/her diet? What snack foods are you giving? Are you using any juices? If so, what?

  1. I gave my baby organic earths best baby food. Also I gave my baby cereal with small pieces of fruits. You should give juices once the baby turns one as the sugar level in juice is much higher.

As for snacks, I gave my baby cheerio, teething biscuits and soft bread

I avoided giving citric fruits, tomatoes and sweet stuff (with lots of sugar)

  2. My son is 7 months and 3 weeks old right now and I give him pretty much anything that I eat. I am specifically avoiding egg whites, honey, and peanut butter, that's it. My son enjoys avocado, baked appple, cinnamon applesauce, broccoli, carrots, sweet potato, go baby yogurt, squash,  peeled diced grapes, diced banana, homemade chicken noodle soup (his favorite), he also enjoys gerber 3rd foods, the spaghetti and lasagna ones. As on-the-go snacks gerber fruit puffs, cheddar puffs, biter biscuits, and fruit bars are a hit. For juices he has had vegetable grape juice, pomegranate and banana, apple, pear (favorite and good for constipation), white grape, gerber yogurt blend....I could go on forever. Hope this gave you some ideas

  3. We are still only using Good Start formula (no more breast milk) and Gerbers 1st foods: applesauce, bananas, peaches, pears, prunes, carrots, green beans, peas, squash, and sweet potatoes.

  4. well I am making  my own baby food, so much cheaper!

she likes sweet potatoes, peas, green beans. bananas, peaches, plums, pears, avocado and watermelon,

She eats rice and oatmeal but not much. Se really likes the Gerber biter biscuits.

I offer diluted juice in a cup once or twice a day and she will drink an once  a day about.

Still gets most nutrition from breast milk.

  5. still not doing meats until 8 months (per dr.'s advice). i am giving 2nd stage foods (none with cheese or corn), mashed potatoes, rice/oatmeal cereal, avacado, 2 ounces of diluted juicy juice white grape juice about every otherday

  6. My daughter was eating stage 2 fruits and veggies in her diet.  She ate just about everything.  I also introduced a sippy cup w/ 2 ounces of water to her meals.  She is 10 months old and is almost off the bottle!  I did not introduce my baby to juice, I thought it would be best to stick with formula and water.  I also started letting her self feed and that age.  I gave her puffs, cherrios, small diced fruits and veggies, pancakes, cubed pieces of bread

I was told to avoid egg whites, peanut butter, and honey!

  7. My first start solids just before 7 months.  He got meat, veggies and protein.  No grains until 9 months, no wheat or chocolate until a year.  No juice until age 2. Snacks?  Fruit are snacks, maybe some cheese.

My second had no interest in solids until 9 months, and even then basically only wanted watermelon and curry.
