  1. You should also know that young hamsters shouldnt be given a large amount of fruit and veg at once because this can upset their tummy and give them diarhea which could cause further problems. You should give them dry food and introduce one or two new fresh foods into their diet a week for a few weeks then you can give them different foods every 3 days or something then build it up gradually like that.
