  1. Try out soy, rice, almond, and hemp milks and oils for cooking and eating.

Lots of rice is great for you, too. Rice with some soy sauce or sesame oil is a great snack no matter what time it is!

  2. You'll be ok! You can still do soy, and there are lots of things that are gluten free and very delicious. Yes you can eat rice, and also quinoa. Depending on how allergic you are, you might be able to do barley. Most other grains have a high gluten content. You may be able to find gluten-free cherrios at a whole foods type place, but these products are expensive! The best thing you can do is just make what you usually make, but substitute brown rice flour (I'm NOT gluten sensitive, but I love this flour more than wheat flour), and substitute soy milk for regular milk--there is also soy creamer, soy yogurt, etc. zyes, corn is ok! Here's a list of what's ok and what's not:

  3. i think the best and accurate anwer would be from a docter☺☻♥

  4. First of all, most soy sauce has wheat as a main ingredient so be careful there.  Corn is ok and things made from corn.  Fruits and vegetables are good you will have to work at getting your protein from beans, soy etc just like you would without gluten intolerance.  Try shopping at a Whole Foods, they can give you a list of things they have that are gluten free and usually have a good selection of pastas, frozen breads etc.  Rice is good as well as potatoes.

The things you have to avoid with gluten intolerance are wheat, rye and barley and things made with them.  Oats may or may not affect you.  They are a gray area for celiacs.  I tried oatmeal when I was on a stable diet and found that I could not handle them for whatever reason so I stay away from them.

If you go to www.csaceliacs.org and find your local council, you can get a lot of help in shopping, recipes and support from them.

Good luck and if I can be of help, let me know!!!!

  5. You are in DEEP DOO DOO. Flour is make from wheat, so NOTHING made with any type of flour. Vegetables & fruit are your only choices. Look at the good side, you can have Ice Cream, chocolate and ice cream and chocolate.

  6. See a registered dieititian (RD). Maybe your doctor can recommend one.
