Coffee, breads, lots of tomatoes, olives and oils, Wine (mostly red), oily fish, shelfish, beef, pork, venison, duck, chicken,  vegetables of many types - Tomatoes, garlic and onions especially, pulses and beans, pasta, lotsa pasta,  lotsa cured meats.

Romans eat when they can.
