My 19 month old likes milk but not cheese. I'm a little worried that she is not getting enough calcium. So what other foods contain calcium? Thanks x

  1. Any dairy products.

  2. Milk, cheese, yogurt, soy milk, soy cheeses, and Total cereals are the best sources of calcium.  As long as she is drinking milk then she is probably getting all the calcium she needs from that.  Some orange juices are fortified with calcium as well.

  3. dairy products like yogurt, ice cream, all cheeses, alot of the kids juices have calcium added to them, eggs, broccoli, there are cereals, cookies, and bread that also have calcium added to them.

  4. Any dairy product has calcium, but to be honest, your child doesn't need dairy at all if she doesn't take to it.  There are vegetarian kids and kids from cultures who don't use dairy who get plenty of calcium.

Many, many cereals and juices are fortified with calcium nowadays, and there are wonderful calcium supplements for kids.

  5. My son loves smoothies. Mix yogurt, fruit and milk. Yummy!

  6. She should still have a bottle/cup of cows milk a day (preferrably full fat), and theres a days portion of calcium in a glassful. have you tried hr on things with cheese sauce? umm... yogurts, savoy cabbage, salmon, rhubarb, brocoli, bread,
