What foods keep you fullest for longest? And a q about eggs!?

Which foods keep you feeling fuller for longer which means you eat less of them?

And is it ok to eat an egg every day? Are they healthy? Will my cholesterol get raised?

  3. if it is only one egg a day then it is fine, this morning i ate 2 eggs 2 pieces of turkey bacon and a whole wheat english muffin this meal keeps me full for a long time, and i read that eating eggs in the morning lets you eat less overall. anothe option would be oatmeal, which is good becasue you can add anything you want, fruit, nuts,etc

  4. anyone who says eating eggs everyday isnt good it is wrong, yes, eggs do contain high coesteroil, but its only the egg yolks the eg yolks is where all the fat cholesteroil sodiom etc is. the egg whites contain lots of protien and vitamins, the thing is to make an omlet or whatever with 3 or 2 egg whites and just 1 yolk . also eating fiber makes you feel fuller longer and fish like salmon does too. eating oatmeal with a fruit in the morning,  a chicken salad in the afternoon and then a 4 oz. piece of salmon with broccoli or spinach is an example of how you should be eating. if you still feel hungry you can eat almonds 1/2 up brown rice popcorn, tortilla chips etc. and always eat the protien first so that by the time your finished eating it youll be full and wont eat anything else.

  5. High fibre cereals with bran, dried fruits, sawdust etc.in keep you feeling fullest for longest because it takes all morning to eat them. A couple of years ago you could only eat 1 egg a month because they were bad for you. But now I see they are good for you so you can eat 2 eggs a day (or more if they're pigeons' eggs).

  6. Anything with a low GI (glycemic index) value will keep you fuller for longer - things like porridge oats, brown rice, sweet potatoes.  

  7. i find the meal that keeps me the fullest for longest is when i have a cooked breakfast, but i do it healthly, i use quorn sausages grilled(soya is very gd for u) baked beans and scrambled eggs done in the microwave with a bit of milk. it tastes nice and is very filling, it keeps me goin all day. i also find things like jkt potatoes and beans really filling and long lasting.

    its suggested not to have more than 10 eggs a week, so i think your fine having an egg a day and if your worried about your cholestrol try using the flora spreads that are desigened to reduce cholesterol


  8. You cannot beat wholegrain cereals...Eggs are high in Cholestrol..
