  1. Mine hurt for 3 days, but i recommend eating yogurt, soup, applesauce, cut up bananas/strawberries.

it probably wont hurt as bad if your only getting the top row though.

  2. Any Soft Foods..

    Applesauce

    Scrambled Eggs

    Oatmeal

    Pudding

    Jello

    Sugar free drinks etc.

Your mouth will hurt for about a week and a half so make sure you are taking OTC pain meds and swishing with warm salt water to get rid of the pain.

    Good Luck!

  3. anything soft/liquidy. I did soups and applesauce, and sometimes milkshakes. Mine only hurt for a couple of days. Pasta works, too, including mac& cheese.  Don't try anything hard/crunchy for a while, though.  It will make you're mouth hurt worse.

    Good Luck!

  4. ramen noodles.

    spaghettie/pasta.

    applesauce.

    yogurt.

    ice cream.

    macaroni and cheese.

    strawberries/bananas.

    bread.

    soup.

    cooked carrots.

    cake/pie.

    smoothies.

    etc.

and since it's just the top row, it might not hurt as bad, but it'd say it'll hurt for may 3-5 days.

it just depends on how pain tolerant you are.

    :)

  5. you should buy soft foods to sooth the pain. i did jell-o. but don't just eat one thing. eat all sorts of soft things. just not hard. that will make it hurt even longer.

  6. Buy soft foods like noodles, applesauce, pudding, jello, yogurt, and soup. My mouth usually hurts for 3 or 4 days, but when you first get them it shouldn't hurt that bad because the wires start out really thin and then get thicker everytime the tighten them.

  7. applesauce

    yogurt

    ice cream

    soup

    pudding

    jello

mine hurt for like a week when i got them on.

  8. I have had my braces on for only 3 days now and the pain on the first 2 days was nothing major but today it driving me a little mental.

I've been eating applesauce, milkshakes, protein shakes, soup, mashed vegetables, custard, creamed oats, creamed rice and pureed lentils.

All doesn't get stuck and no chewing is required which is good.

Best of luck with your braces.
