  1. 5-11 makes you tall for the edge positions (WR, CB) - if you keep growing, your height will become your greatest asset.  Your speed will be fine for any position at the Freshman level, so you need to determine if you "project" as a WR or DB at your school in the future (as a JR/SR).  Take a look at the varsity guys and determine what your coaches are looking for at those spots.  If you don't think you will look like them, then maybe TE is way to go.

In most cases, your best bet is to follow what the coaches say, and if they need you to play Outside LB, then thats where you go, regardless of whether you like it or not.  You may be surprised where you end up, so just go out there and enjoy playing - your position will be determined for you soon enough.

  2. If you are almost 6ft at 14 I would suggest you play corner or widereceiver.

Use your height to your advantage....good luck.

  3. Well i can't believe I'm saying this but you are the first fourteen year old who is faster than me i ran a 4.78 40 but hey i just turned fourteen.

You should consider playing receiver and corner because of your speed and height but just gain a little more muscle mass because at the freshman level and in a big town everybody is bigger.

But if you're hands don't turn out to be excellent then play running back because you can outrun everybody.

  4. cornerback

  5. wide receiver

  6. You currently aren't big enough to be considered for a tight end.  4.72 for 40 yds is quite fast for a 14 year old and at that speed you would be valuable as a WR, RB, or CB.  The question is whether you would rather be hit or do the hitting (and also if you can catch well).  If you prefer to hit people, you should consider CB or Safety.

  7. A snow globe.

  8. I think you should play Wide reciever if you got hands and your fast your good but heres a website that may make you decision better.

  9. cornerback you got great speed and your tall

  10. I would say cornerback because of the catching part.  If you are going to big school more than likely they will have guys that will be able to catch better than you, however you can always work on ways to improve that if you prefer offense better than defense.  Generally speaking though defensive back do not catch as well as receivers so that shouldn't be as much of an issue.  With the speed that you have at your age running back might not be a bad choice either.

  11. Go and try out for receiver if not made try and gain some weight  and go for tightend

  12. I'd tryout for Tight End if I were you. You have decent size for your age, your speed is great for the position, and with some weight lifting you'll get the strength needed for it.
