I want to buy a new football helmet for myself and I was wondering what the better helmet was, based on looks, comfort, and price.

  1. dna is the most confortable helmet ive ever used. the revolution is not confortable at all. it makes your fore head hurt really bad

  2. The revolution is an absolute joke. People get concussions in the supposed concussion proof helmet every day. Ever watch an NFL or college game? When a helmet falls off 90% of the time it's a Revo because players have to wear it larger because there is no flex at the jaw pad so it bobbles on there head and falls off. Not to mention it takes half a season to break it in then it’s at least somewhat comfortable. The dang thing is made of thick foam which is the same technology for the past 20 something years. Ever play on a hot day during 2 a days? Have you ever played when it’s cold during playoffs? Well if you're wearing the supposed concussion proof helmet your chances of getting a concussion have drastically gone up because foam gets like a Marshmallow when it's hot and is like a brick when it's cold. Not to mention the thing is uglier than sin. Basically if you're buying a Revo you might as well pick up an 8-track because you buying yesterday. The Schutt DNA on the new helmets like the ION on the other hand doesn't use 20 year old foam it uses this material called skydex which doesn’t change shape with different weather conditions and is instantly comfortable when you put it on. Ive personally worn both and there is no comparison, go with the Schutt Ion!!

  3. My guys wear the Wilson Ultimate

  4. the revolution is supposedly the safest one, but it looks goofy IMO

  5. I wear the Schutt and find it quite comfortable and safe!

  6. Go with the Riddell Rev.
