What footballers earning over 100 thousand pounds deserve every penny?

erm beckham maybe, dont know where u came up with ibrahimovic as i think he is easily within the top 5 currently playing atm (any1 who doesnt agree clearly doesnt watch serie a)

But then again i think any player earning 6 figure a week clearly has earned the clubs respect, they would not be paying that much for a player they dont think is world class

Actually Beckham and Ibra do deserve it

remember football is a business and thanks to having Beckham La Galaxy are not making was more money due to his image rights and memorabilia and so on he is a very marketable person and though the team is losing the top boys are lining their pockets so that's an investment pal

also Ibra is one of the best strikers in Serie A football and he was injured for a spell and playing with a bum knee and on pain killers and still played for Inter and scored so if that is deserving tell me what is?

anyways other players who deserve it are

Steven Gerrard, Kaka, C.Ronaldo especially after last season's performance and John Terry maybe also.

Well I disagree about David Beckham. Okay so he may not earn it on the pitch but off it he makes millions for LA Galaxy so he deserves a cut of that!

No footballer really deserves that kind of money for playing football but they do when you consider how much their clubs make. Football is a massive business and isn't possible without the players so they, from that point of view deserve every penny considering they make the alot of the money for their clubs.

I think Steven Gerrard throughly deserves his. On MOFD it was pointed out how hard he works for the cause.

John Terry too deserves his wage.

Players who don't haha well, I think Ben Haim earns 60,000 a week at Man City and Boa Morte earns 55,000 at West Ham-They really don't deserve anywhere near what they get!!!!!

I'd say Terry, Lampard and Rooney don't.

C.Ronaldo would be top in the list as he has scored more than 70 goals for ManUtd in the last 2 seasons!!!

Kaka and Gerrard also deserve their pay packets.

Athletes don't deserve squat.  Exorbitant salaries can be justified under the umbrella of 'entertainment', but as for salaries based on their contribution to society, they are overpaid and should be paying out.  Teachers, firemen, and other self sacrificing individuals deserve more.
