  1. It depends on your degree and where you may end up working.

Spanish is spoken in many places apart from Spain, and Mandarin is spoken by one h**l of a lot of people - just think how many people live in China!

But if Italian draws you, go for it. You'll always do better learning a language you love.

  2. I would say Spanish and Italian, preferably both, but first Spanish and then Italian!

  3. What is your degree in? Choose the language that works with your degree to further your career.

If you're majoring in a business or political degree, Chinese or Japanese.

If it's a social work type of degree, than Spanish.

If it's in the arts, French, German or Italian.

  4. It's your life, your degree, and you can choose.

    Just choose your favourite.

You already know one of the most popular languages in the world, so maybe Japanese or Mandarin to introduce you to a new alphabet.

But by all means choose Italian if you think it's so cool.

  5. It's best to go with whichever you're more interested in personally. Languages are easier to learn and remember if you have an interest in it. If you choose otherwise though then go for Mandarin, more difficult in the writing and reading sections but spoken very widely in parts of China and Taiwan.

  6. I would say mandarin mainly because of the percentage of the world who would be able to speak/understand it. Plus you could watch lots of cool kung-fu movie without subtitles!

  7. there are a few considerations...

if you are good at languages, go for the more difficult ones Japanese or manderain   they will be useful if you work in those areas.

if you aren't, go for the easier ones for the better grade (spanish, french italian)

also where will you be working or traveling in your future dream job?

    that is a consideration also.

good luck!  the best way to really learn a language is to travel to a country where it is used  a few hours a week in a class room won't really teach you the language, just the basics.

also try a study abroad- it is a great experience, and looks really good on a resume. (plus it is lots of fun!!!)

  8. hi!i'm italian...if u choose it i can help u and also u can practise with me...go on my profile 4 my contacts=]

  9. If you'll be doing business in America, I think Spanish would be very useful. I personally took German for a few years and found it very easy to learn, but never have a use for it. I think the remaining 4 choices are the most impressive to learn. It's really up to you.

  10. ah.. si. La lingua Italiana e bellisima! Penso che sara buono imparare altra lingua...specialmente se abiti nel stati uniti sai che qua ce una multitud di lingue.
