What foreign music do you have in your library that you would recommend?

(I'm posting this in the languages section because I know you all like languages as much as I do, and you probably have more foreign music in your library than the people in the Music section.)

Can anyone recommend me some good foreign bands or artists? What foreign artists do you listen to?

I'm sort of sick of the "candy pop" music like Utada Hikaru and Every Little Thing (not that I hate that genre, but I've had enough of it for the moment). Anyone know of emo foreign bands, like Tokio Hotel, or alternative bands like Incubus? Punk rock bands like OOMPH! or Rammstein? Alternative rock bands like Linkin Park? I wouldn't say no to a bit of electropop like Sam Sparro or The Veronicas, or alternative pop like Jem or Colbie Caillat...

I already know classic Jpop/Jrock bands like L'arc~en~ciel and Gackt and Miyavi. I'm looking to branch out from Japan, actually. I welcome Japanese bands, but I'd love to hear tons of other different nationalities, too. Icelandic, Russian, Portuguese, Arabic, French, British, Swedish... any nationality, really. Whatever you have, throw it out there.

Try Verka Serduchka. Ukrainian guy, dressed like a girl though -- makes good music. Also, Jean Leloup from Québec.
