What fornat do my files need to be to work on a DVD player?

I just burned a movie to a disc & it was WMV format. My DVD player wouldn't play it.

What do i need to convert the files to?

    I'd suggest you download Convert X to DVd v.3

    i summarize by sayin: its easy to use, and works perfectly.

    It lets you burn multiple video files (including AVI) to DVD, along with amazing DVD menus.

    I'm a movie enthusiast, so I've tried many DVD burning tools out there, they are rly many.. but only few do the job right.

  5. I would recommend you download ConvertXtoDVD. Ive been using it for a year now, on windows, never had a problem!

    It will convert your video files to the dvd format readable by all standard dvd players, then burn automatically to DVD!
