I'm wanting to try a new foundation and brozner,

I'm not bothered what types liquid or power, pressed/loose power or balls etc.

but I'm wanting a natural look not to look like i've been tangoed lol, also i want one that's going to last and keep matte all day not wear off after a couple of hours

last point I'm a student on a low budget lol - ideally i'd like to get both for £20 or under

  1. I love using rimmel foundation....have used it for years!

But the best bronzer i use is fake bake....i love it! x

  2. best bronzer i know...Barry M 'natural dazzle'! you can get it at superdrugs! it amazing...it looks so natural plus its matte so it don't look like you have shiny stuff all over your face.

btw its only £9.95 and you get 12g worth.

heres a link, i know it looks dark but trust me it isn't. you can gradually build up the colour. it suits any skin tone!

oh and for foundation, i use rimmel stay matte foundation...i think it gives a really good coverage and its under a fiver!

i'm a student too hun, can't afford high end make up! x

  3. Foundation- Mac liquid foundation. Lasts forever, blends well, very good coverage, matte, doesnt melt away, and doesn't look over the top. Go into Selfridges ask them to help u find ur colour. They'l try it on ur skin so u knw what it looks like. I have 2 say its not the cheapest, but it definatley is the best. If ur really on a budget, try it out in the store, find ur colour. Then go home & find it online! Trust me its worth it. Around £14

Blusher- i use a brush on Bronzer from Bodyshop. (Bronzing balls in a tub). You can use it on your cheeks & lightly over your face to make your foundation look more natural. They're not powder, so don't blotch, or look dry. They shimmer giving you a natural look with colour. I've had the tub 4 like, 3 years and its still not finished! (Not really hygienic to use 4 so long, but who cares... thats what u call money well spent!) Around £8

  4. Have a look on the mac website or bennefit.com

also estee lauder is amazing. i have used the double wear foundation for 7 years and i love it.

    also clinque is amazing.

the best bronzer is bennefit. its so natural. it looks dark but its not.

    defo go on the websites.

    hope that helps

  5. You need to determine what your skin type is. If its dry, go for a foundation with added moisturiser. If its oily, go for something that is oil-free and balancing. If you match the foundation to your skin type, you'll get a much better and natural looking result.

If you want a more natural looking bronzer, go for a lighter shade and build it up to a darker shade by applying more if it is needed.

Now, Rimmel do pretty nice foundations and brozers. As do Lo'real and Max Factor. If you got foundation and brozer from there you'd get them for around £20, less if you go with Rimmel.

  6.

    Mary Kay® Mineral Powder Foundation

A weightless, skin-perfecting powder, Mary Kay® Mineral Powder Foundation provides buildable coverage and is transfer-resistant so it won't fade away midday. It's a skin perfecter that makes lines, wrinkles and other imperfections seem to disappear. And it's suitable for sensitive skin. It blends effortlessly with the sweep of a brush for a flawless look. For perfect application, use the custom-designed Mary Kay® Mineral Foundation Brush (sold separately).

  7. Rimmel Recovery Liquid foundation is great, lasts a long time (both on your face and in the bottle), it has a really natural feel and look to it and is inexpensive compared to other foundations.

For bronzers I would recommend Collection 2000 flowery bronzers.

    Only about £3.99

I always wear a nice moisturiser like Pond's Cold Cream (£1 for 100 ml) because it is a luxurious moisturiser but doesn't make you feel or look greasy and doesn't clump at all with makeup over the top. Just don't use too much - a finger tips amount is a good measure I think.

    Hope that helped. xx

  8. Get the Hollywood mineral foundation and the Lit Up bronzer and the veil from LA Minerals website. It's FANTASTIC!

I been wearing it for about a year now and I love the stuff. Lasts all day. Makes your skin look perfect, and looks so natural.

The Lit Up bronzer is the perfect shade for fair to med skin tones.

Get some samples and try it out. Their site says they ship the samples free anywhwere...so nothing to lose in trying it!

  9. I've always found any rimmel products to be good! I think that their bronzer is luvly and there foundation is pretty good! Whatever you do, don't buy maybelline matte mousse!
