What foundation do you use and why?

And, How can you tell if foundation really matches your skin tone?

I use Mark C-thru-U in Ivory

I have extremely pale skin, and this is the first foundation that is sheer enough to match my skin tone, but still cover blemishes.

The best way to tell if a foundation is right for you is to try it!

A lot of drug stores have shade guides hanging in the cosmetics section

If you order from Avon or Mary Kay, you can ask for a sample of a certian shade before you purchase it.

Rimmel London. You can find some Covergirl skin-tone matchers in some magazines. You just put the piece of paper over your skin, and see which one best blends with your skin.

Mineral power foundation by maybelline, it is hypoallergenic so it is safe on skin

I use Jane Be Pure mineral foundation because it covers blemishes and it's inexpensive!

You can tell if foundation matches your skin tone by applying it to your chin. If it blends right in so you can't tell it's their, it's the perfect shade.

Get a lighter foundation for winter, and a darker one for summer. Mix the two foundations in your hands in spring and fall.

Ive tried so many different foundations and i dont think ive found the right one yet.

Right now,  I sue Maybelline's Mineral line and it works pretty good but i can seem to find the right color.

Almayis good. I use the color match thing where you apply it on your face it turns into the color that you are. I think this one is the the best for me.

I also use Nuetrogena'a mineral  too. the one in the tube. that one is good too.

Next, i think im going to try Bare Minerals

The CoverGirl Clean foundation.

I've heard people say it breaks them out, but it doesn't seem to do it to me, and my skin is rather prone to acne.

L'Oreal True Match, it really matches my skin and gives me the perfect amount of coverage I am looking for (medium)

Okay, pick three shades that you think are similar to your skin tone.

One that you think is the perfect match and one shade lighter and one shade darker than the color you think is the perfect match. (I am W4(my perfect shade) in True Match so I would choose W3 (lighter) and W5 (darker) to test out)

Swipe all three on your jawline and see which one blends the best with your skintone.

Natural lighting is best.

Raw Minerals from the bare escuatials line is the best. I dunno,I guess I love it best it covers my blemishes and flaws and makes me look like I have really pretty skin,which I dont,without looking like I have a cake of makeup on.

I use Max Factor Color Adapt just because I'm very pale and it matches perfectly. You know when a foundation matches because you can't see it, that's the mistake people make.

I use Tru Blend Foundation!! I tell By rubbing it on my wrist and if it blends in it's u're color.

I.D. bare minerals. Love the stuff! Expensive but works and lasts a long time if you portion it correctly!
